We normally go for the Callerton parking but thought we'd pay a little extra and park on site. It wasn't worth it as there is no direct path into the car park; you have to walk all the way round and probably takes as long as the 5 minute transfer!

We only encountered problems when attempting to leave the car park. The reception staff had no record or paperwork in relation to our booking. This mean we were waiting an additional 20 mins to leave the car park whilst our copies of the paperwork were checked - good job we had copies with us. Otherwise got parked fine and transport to and from the terminal was very prompt.

On entering car park you press button at barrier and get ticket. Camera records your registration. On return you stop at barrier and enter ticket then system checks your booking and lets you out. On this occasion barrier would not let me out and I had to go to booking office (with a queue of cars behind me) and give them my 'park and go' reference number. It appears their system had not recorded my registration on entry and I had to be issued a new ticket to get out (once they had checked my booking on their system). Not a good experience causing me a delay and a load of frustrated motorists behind me waiting to get to the barrier. NOT park and go's fault I hasten to add.

When input ticket to exit it said I needed to pay £81.00. Ticket office had no details of my booking even though had reference number! Remember to print off details which I didn't!
